Have you ever stopped and asked yourself: Where did your story truly begin?
Not the version others tell—your version!
The raw, unfiltered, soul-sparking origin that shaped who you are becoming.
As I step into this new era in the second half of 2025, I’m claiming this moment as my official re-launch of Journey and The Journeyverse. A rebirth. A conscious choice to reimagine not only my life narrative but also the heartbeat behind my brand, The Journeyverse.
This blog post isn’t just an update—it’s a declaration. One rooted in awakening, evolution, and the power of rewriting your own story before anyone else does.
The construction of The Journeyverse started in 2021. I was fresh on the heels of graduating from UC Davis in June 2021. The origins of The Journeyverse came from a figment of my imagination—something that never left me, aka a gift from my inner child.
A gift that has stayed intact and allows me to tap into my creativity after twenty-six years of life and counting!
The Journeyverse will forever be my first baby, my brainchild, which formed in my little living room in Davis, California.
This is a universe that bloomed in Sacramento when I returned to my hometown and fostered in one of the many childhood homes on 33rd and Y. The stable bricks built and cemented on the soil X Street. The elevated ceilings on 37th and T on the border of East Sacramento and Oak Park.
Christened with stories from childhood from San Rafael Way. Booming with sounds and childhood scars on 3rd Avenue. Flashbacks from a past life and faded memories from a black gated fence on 32nd Street.
The Journey is to be captured in a visual time capsule through the lens of Journey from The Journeyverse!
I have been writing since I was eight years old, and I am twenty-six now. That’s 18 years of literature—from run-on sentences and half-written short stories to vignettes patched together to make memoirs and incomplete novellas. Writings on the walls of my brain poured out and etched across the universe from my heart.
Now, in 2025, this is a new era for my art! Every month so far, The Journeyverse has put on a virtual workshop. Both Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction workshops have been phenomenal! Yet, the most popular workshop series has been those of the Creative Non-Fiction persuasion.
In the second half of 2025, I would like to continue doing workshops with the intent to expand, making them bigger, better, and higher quality, with your time being continuously valued.
Not only am I focused on workshops, but I also want to help my fellow storytellers achieve their writing skills with the ultimate writing products, as well as providing coaching services to help those who may be in need of more direct instruction.
Can we have a moment of silence for my career in education paying off?
Wait a minute!
One more minute… the people in the back are just catching up!
Your girl is versatile for a young adult with such a fiery, often overstimulated spirit!
The world is my oyster, and I am elated to take this universe from sizable to lecture hall status.
Most importantly, I am perfecting a solid elevator pitch, so when you see me or converse with me, whether virtually or through messages, I am ready to sell you your dream ticket to this alternate universe.
I have been networking and promoting my brand in ways that have led my skills to be assessed, spoken in spaces without my presence, and shared with others in more than one way.
I am overly grateful for all of the support I have received from friends, family, and even strangers. The common understanding that people have said is that your core support group will be strangers, and this is something I can 100% attest to and stand by.
Hold up!
I am not calling anyone out, but it has been proven time and time again that people who are new to your business are often more curious. This is their first time being exposed to your work versus those who know you. Those who know you are well-versed in your passion and have heard you say it or even market it across social media an innumerable amount of times.
The amount of support I have received, along with the level of investment and the doubt, has been just the fuel I needed to keep going.
I appreciate each and every one of you and cannot thank you enough, but that doesn’t mean I will stop trying!
Expressing all glory and gratitude to God as well for continuing to bless me in more ways than one because, without Him, I am not sure where I would be.
Now, before I go into the deep end… let’s shift gears!
I have also received higher quality business cards now. I have passed them out to many inquisitive minds and also posted them in several places across two different cities. I look forward to collaborating with other creatives, organizations, corporations, investors, and any other interested parties or individuals who know a good thing when they see it!
If you or anyone you know is interested in working with a Creative Educator, you will be in good hands with The Journeyverse.
There are many projects on the horizon, and I am excited to announce what is to come within the next few weeks and exciting additions for the summer.
